About The Event
Join us for an open water swimming event like no other! This is the first ever Pierce Island Swim at Spofford Lake and we are excited to hit the water this coming Labor Day! We are also hosting three practice swim meetups during the summer that are no charge. On the event day we will have three swim distance options: 1.2 miles, 0.8 miles and a 100 yard kids swim. Please note that swimmers should be comfortable swimming the 1.2 mile distance in no more than 60 minutes and the 0.8 mile distance in no more than 40 minutes and all swimmers MUST bring their own swim bouy for the event. We will have a number of canoe/kayak paddlers on the swim course to give swimmers a break if needed and we'll also have one boat on the lake in the event that a swimmer is not able to finish…
